The DL Quartet is once again holding forth at Pip's On La Brea, every Saturday night from 7 to 10 PM. Yes, we've expanded the trio to a quartet with the addition of guitarist Eric Kogan.

Sheet Music Plus is now publishing some of my arrangements for big band. There are eleven published so far, with more to come soon. Jazz Lines is now publishing my big band compositions. So far they have added 13 to their catalog, the latest being Crimp Cut. These are great charts (if I do say so myself) and many are playable by good high school jazz bands. On the “Calendar” page you will find public performances listed.  Lately I have been performing quite a bit with my trio, consisting of myself plus bass and drums. We have been appearing with some regularity at Pip’s in Los Angeles.

BANDS

If you need a band for your party, luncheon, night club, or any other function, I can provide it. Any size from a three piece combo to twenty piece big-band. Live music always adds class to a function.

MUSIC SERVICES

Besides performing, I provide other musical services such as composing, arranging, orchestration, lead sheets, transcriptions and music preparation. So if you need any of those services  please contact me.

MUSIC LESSONS

Oh yes, if you would like to learn how to play the sax, the flute, or the clarinet, I do also give private music lessons at reasonable rates.
